Health Information Management
The Health Information Specialist program is designed to provide the student with the variety of skills necessary for gaining entry-level employment in a doctor's office, hospital, or other facilities. We will have a strong focus throughout the program on customer service and professionalism.
The student will be able to perform medical hospital billing and coding, medical transcription, front office and customer service skills, Microsoft Office Applications, and have a thorough understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.
Graduates completing the courses below and meeting all graduation requirements will receive an Associate‘s of Occupational Studies Degree upon completion.
